Battery Business Notebook

Is this laptop worth the price???
The laptop is a Dell Latitude D610 and my sister is asking $500 for it and here are the specs:
Dell Latitude D610
_________________________________________________________
The D610 is ready for any road you may travel. This mainstream business notebook is built for serious mobile performance, incorporating Intel’s latest-generation Centrino platform. It’s also fairly light (5.4 pounds) and has very good battery life (4 hours)—a winning combination for busy road warriors.
Type: General Purpose
Operating System: MS Windows XP Professional
Processor Speed: 2 GHz
RAM: 512 MB
Weight: 5.4 lb
Screen Size: 14.1 inches
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon x300
Storage Capacity: 80 GB
Networking Options: 802.11g
Primary Optical Drive: DVD-ROM/CD-RW
In my personal opinion, I do not think it’s worth $500. Of course, this is just an opinion but I’ll break down my decision for you. There are many new, budget-minded laptops that are around the $500 price point. An extra $100-200 would net you a pretty descent laptop. Even the basic $500 laptop would have a better processor, more memory, a larger hard disk. Additionally, all new laptops include a DVD Burner so you could burn DVDs instead of just CDs. If the price was perhaps $200-300 it would probably be worth it.
