Razr screen question!?!?!?
I recently took apart my phone trying to replace the whole covering. In the process of doing this i broke the keyboard. So i bought a new one and it seems to be working fine. I then accidentally tore some buttons off of the outer flex cable like what the volume keys are connected to so i bought a new one of that. My lcd screen does not work anymore its just pitch black lyk it has no power. I tried buying a new one and it came in broken, i am trying to get that exchanged. Anyways when i plugged in the new flex cable to the screen the speaker and volume button worked. I wanted to know if the lcd screen doesnt power up because of some software problem realated to the new keyboard? Please help i have wasted at least $70 trying to fix this phone.
Sounds like you got in over your head on this one. Best advice would be to take it to someone who has experience with these things or buy a new phone.
