LapTop To TV, Via Vga/S-Video Cable?
I Just Brought A VGA To S-Video Cable and I Doesn’t Seem To Work! My Laptop Does Support Another Monitor (tested) But Can’t get it to work on my tv! When Plugged in the laptop recognised To External display but on the tv it comes up three screens on the tv, flickering, black and white And Fuzzy Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks
Those VGA-to-S-video cables are intended for use with video cards that have a specially-built VGA port that can also send out an S-video signal. It will NOT work with just any VGA port.
I doubt your laptop’s VGA port is one of those specially-built ones, otherwise that adapter would have been included with your laptop.
Sorry to say, but you wasted your money.
